Congratulations to the 2021 World Barista Champion — Diego Campos representing Colombia. We’ve seen an intense four days of competition, with almost 40 competitors on-stage representing their Competition Bodies. Here is the final ranking:

Det har inte pratats så mycket om årets World Barista Championship som avgjordes 26 oktober. Antagligen för att Sverige inte hade med någon tävlande i år eftersom vi inte lyckades arrangera något SM.
Årets vinnare blev Diego Campos från Colombia.
Diego tävlande med ett anaerobiskt kaffe från Colombia. 20 gram kaffe in och 46 gram espresso ut. Domarna fick samtidigt som de drack espresson sätta på sig hörlurar, titta på en sufplatta, klämma på en boll och känna kylan (gissar jag) från flytande kväve i ett glas med vatten. Alla sinnen skulle med andra ord stimuleras för att leverera en fantastisk kaffeupplevelse
