Var köpa färskrostade böner i Tyskland online?

Hej,

tänkte överraska min kompis (väldigt bra gudfar till min son) i Tyskland till jul med väldigt bra färskrostat kaffe till hans nyinköpta Silvia. Är det någon som vet var man kan köpa färsk rostat kaffe online i Tyskland. Har letat men min bristande tyska hindrar nog mig att finna nått.

sorry, but my swedish is not so good, that's why I write in english.
the first one I can recomment by my self, because I had some beans from there, before I roastet by my self.
The second is well known in the german http://www.kaffee-netz.de/ community.

Jag har handlat ganska mycket från tyska smårosterier. Frågan är dock först: är det traditionella rostningar, eller väldigt ljusa, syrligare rostningar som är aktuellt?

Jag är väldigt glad över de snabba svaren. Fantastiskt när ett forum fungerar så bra. Jag har haft ett långt förhållande till kaffe och trodde att jag skulle kunna hitta informationen på nätet, letade och hitta inte mycket. Tänkte nästan ge upp, eller skicka hemma rostade böner från Norge,,,väldigt dyr lösning. Jag tänkte låt mig bara kolla ifall någon på forumet visste nått, inga stora förväntningar, men där ser man.

Sumac, thanks for your prompt response. Liturgius (I take this in english since Sumac had the same question) and Sumac my friend do enjoy espresso for many years but is not spoiled with good beans. I thought of buying some classic Italian style and some more fruity African. I wish to show him some variation for him to see what fits him. If there is a way to pay online (pay-pal, master cards etc.) would be great (i buy my green beans from Germany but have do bank transfer, a hazzle).

so, I will go on writing in English as well, please forgive med for lack of proper language skills.

I am not sure, about every roaster’s payment practice, but these are my experiences so far:

Baumkaffee: tend to more classical roasts, but with modern transparency. Their Espresso Probierpaket is a hit, and you could add som single origins with more modern profiles. They also offer a very interesting 100 % Canephora (Robusta) and a pure Malabar. Free delivery from 50 €

Quijote: they have sorted their espressos in „Helle“ and „Dunkle röstungen“ so it is fairly overviewable. Works cloesly with farmers and cooperatives with direct trade. Many small roasteries in Germany buy their beans from them. Free delivery from 120 €

Die-Kaffee [Sic!]: Many sorts to choose from, mostely single origins, but also a few price winning blends.Interestingly the Cappuccino blend is 100 % arabica, whereas the Espresso blend contains robusta. Also has some really rare sorts. Acceps PayPal for sure.

Caffe a Due: Ordered their Probierpaket + a few more. Not very impressed by their roasts. Good, stright-forward, correct, but not very interesting from a aromatic point of view. Marcus is a dealer of Dalla Corte, and offers a modified version, with Ulka EX4 pump, true pre-imfusion with 2 bar pressure (from second pump), extra switch for steam boiler and better moveability of steam wand (and for a price not significantly higher than normal!).

Mirella: I really enjoy Dschungel as well as their Malabar. Most other roasts, i personally felt was a little less interesting, but well executed. Delivers fast, and free of charge from 50 €.

if you order coffee in tyskland, I would order it, but would give the adress of your friend to deliver it there. first of all, it is cheaper and secondly, what is more important, he gets it fresh, without traveling around in europe.
