hej,
skrev detta på engelska men tror att ni kommer att uppskatta detta i alla fall då det helt enkelt handlar om glädjen att hitta nya guldkorn i espressofloran världen över! plus att det är ett bra tips för den som är på väg till Hong Kong!

finally in Hong Kong and finally a day to wander the streets in search of good espresso. I have had to do with regular drip coffee from Starbucks because it is a sure bet and they have wifi!
after many a wrong turn I finally made it to Crema Cafe on Mody Rd in the Tsim Sha Tsui district but to my dismay they are closed. of course it is sunday and it is the 10th anniversary of the Hong Kong Handover (to China from UK) so no wonder....
of course my chinese friends have all told my that everything would be open since the chinese in Hong Kong never close!!! so I still have a few hours and hoping that the owners of Crema Cafe were not chinese and I am hoping that the owners of Zambra in the Wanchai district will be I get back on the road to coffee heaven!!!
after a nice ferry ride, a pleasent stroll, a stop at a Starbucks to check the google.com/maps to find Jaffe Rd in Wanchai I finally walk pass the Wanchai police station, cross Stewart Rd and there it is!!! open and all!!!
the espresso is everything I hoped for.. the cappuccinos are creamy and the latte art is wonderful.
I tell the barista behind the la Marzocco that according to sources they make the best espresso in Hong Kong. he simply replies "yes we do"!!!!!
